Hannah Patootie

Another trip to KidCity. Found a TV station room that I hadn't seen before. Mainly Asher smashed buttons and Charlie put on a puppet show.

I'm going to leave some pictures big to add to the cuteness.

Here's the kids at the duck pond. Which, despite a ridonkulious amount of rain, is almost sludge. Half those ducks swan over and the other half walked.
Fell asleep in the car, reading a book.

Possibly my favorite new pose for Ash. The Phone on the Table shot. Simple. Easy. And adorable.

The boots were a freak out stopper. It didn't last.

The stool was also a freak out stopper. He now takes half his meals on the stool. Makes him as tall as his chair and booster seat but that's too easy. Heaven forbid he sit in a real supported chair that doesn't teeter.

At the Durham Fair. Charlie and Asher take the rides out for a spin.

CAN YOU HEAR ME NOW. (ah remember that? It's a tv commercial. Good times)

We went to Hammonasset Beach. I thought it was going to be crowded and awful but I was wrong. It was pretty sparse and beautiful. They had a long jetty you could walk out on. I took Charlie out. About a third of the way out Charlie's hand slipped out of mine and she went running ahead. It felt like a part of a 80's movie Dad-at-his-daughters-wedding montage. I felt like a saccharin Steve Martin.

My solution to grilling in the rain.

At the playground.

Bagel. Taken the same morning as the dancey dance movie two posts ago.
At the pumpkin farm. Asher looks happy. Charlie looks like it's about to chop her head off.
