Gracie

Here are some pics from the first of five Christmas's my kids get to enjoy this year. Well, that's not true (actually it is true but let me re-brand it): Here's some pictures from my sister's visit. They came over from Germany to work on Jason's Match (doctor stuff) and stayed for two weeks. In those two weeks they worked through 5 houses and three states. You know, a lazy time. It was great to finally meet Wyatt and watch my sister's mothering skills. Judging. Always judging.

Nana took this action shot of Charlie.
I gave a Master's Class in trimming baby's nails. If you've ever done it you know it's harder than a bris on a roiling ship. Look it up, it's a wang reference.
Nana took the first one. I took the second. No idea why all the pics I take come out yellow.

Opening gifts.

At one point Jason made me laugh so hard I got tunnel vision. Like seriously concerned for my blood/ox level can't breath laughing. Nana got some pictures that capture just a little of it, I thank god she didn't get it on video, but really, she should have gotten it on video.

At one point I was choking on a blue corn chip. What a stupid way to go.
Here's some good pics of my sister.

Here's a sea of red. My mom got all the kids matching stripey footie pajamas. Also, a sea of cuteness.

I think Nana had to save Wyatt from the cute sea lest he be pulled under by a riptide.
Doing some crafts.

This pic, chronologically, comes after the others but the damn blog program won't let me move it easily. And it's late and I'm tired of fighting this damn thing so: Here's a picture of Jason, Wyatt, my Aunt Marilyn and her grandaughter (my cousin possibly removed) Leighton. I really like how Matt, my cousin and Leighton's father (not ranked in order of importance) is reflected in the mirror. He looks like a photoshop gag. I think they should cut out his image, blow it up and tape it to the mirror so all the pictures taken on that couch have him there. Like a reassuring angel.
Snack time.

At Stew's. We were hoping to get the kids pic with their Santa but he was out feeding the reindeer.

Wyatt playing around. Asher comes to visit.

Asher likes Wyatt's stuff.
Shoe shopping with mom and Aunt Nana.

Some more cute Wyatt pics.

Killing the radio star:

I am buying a gift for someone right now that I really don't want to give them. I want to keep it for myself. It is the most awesome gift idea in the history of all things. Once I give it, I'll post a link. You'll all be blowed away.

  1. Send me the pictures you took while we were there!!

You first video cracked me up. I love you quietly playing with the wrapping paper at the end.

Also, no gifts from Charlie?? None? Ouch! Heather's daughters preschool did gifts for the parents (the parents had to pay for it, of course - but the kids picked them out). Not sure which would be better.... but I would tell her school to step it up!

  2. Also, where do the titles of your posts come from? (besides your mind)

  3. Actually, we did get a gift from Charlie -- she brought home a picture, decorated, from preschool and (just like last year), hid it and then promptly forgot about it. We remembered to open it sometime in the afternoon. :) - Dianna
