Out our back door. The deer was in-between our house and the screened in porch. No idea why Ash doesn't have his shirt on.

We went to get ice cream the other day. It was the day of Sandy Hook so I figured it was a good day to spend with the kids - just a little time in the afternoon to let them have something special. Something fun. So we went to the local ice cream/candy shop. They turned off the tv and put on Finding Nemo. The kids didn't want to sit and eat, they wanted to sit and eat and watch. So Ash pulled up the basket. The owners didn't care so they stayed there.

I cashed in all my change before Christmas. Took it to one of those coin machines. If you get a gift card from them, they don't gouge you for the usual 20%. So I got a gift certificate (plus an extra one) for Dianna, for Christmas and got myself a Lowe's giftie. Went to Lowe's. Bought pipe insulation (exciting), wrapped it and stuck it under the tree, from Dianna to me.

Pretty ingenious, really.

This is Asher helping me with it. He did this all himself.

Went to Ikea to get a gift for Dianna. Took a while to figure everything out. Charlie sat and watched Elf, which is a pretty great movie.

Ash and I going for a walk. His first real time on the balance bike. He did pretty well, too.
