Bah da da

When our PBS station runs it's Beg For Money week, they always show the same things, Rain (the Beatles cover band), Celtic Women that sing some horrible middling Celtic-ish songs, an honest to god 15 minute loop of of Dean Martin Show clips and Australian Pink Floyd, which as per the name is an Australian band that does Pink Floyd songs. Now, the Celtic Women have several hours of unimaginable pain they broadcast followed, on full moon and secret equinoxes, by Celtic Men, who are equally as unimaginable.

And once they played a fifteen minute clip of a Roy Orbison concert, with Bruce Springsteen, Elvis Costello and Tom Petty. Which was awesome, until 45 minutes in I realized it was 15 minutes of a concert looped and I'd literally wasted half an hour. But that's beside the point so stop judging me, Judgey.

Well, tonight is Australian Pink Floyd. And, as much as the others are horrible (I'm guessing they put them on so you call and beg them to shut it off, then they hit you up for the money. "Well, we'll lope off 10 minutes for $200." And I'm sure people are more than willing to pay. Remember: horrible) Australian Pink Floyd, and to a lesser extent Rain (the Beatles cover band) are awesome. I mean, if you like Pink Floyd.

I like Pink Floyd.

It makes me want to turn out the lights and put on over-sided headphones.  Do I even have anymore a black light anymore? Where do you even get them now? Spencer Gifts? Anyhoo - we've been listening to Pulse (the Pink Floyd Live cd that had a blinking light and nuclear strength battery in it) for almost an hour and Dianna hasn't complained once.

Maybe I could turn off the lights.

Here's some pictures from Easter. The time of eggs that never get eaten. Oh sure, you'll have one funky colored egg salad sandwich, then when you go to make lunch the next day, you suddenly remember you have ham, and ham, you remember doesn't give you the toots.

This picture size seems to be the only way to get two by two. Think it's ok?
