Yo Hubba Bubba

Asher's watching Yo Gabba Gabba and I'm drinking my tea. Clearly the day's winding down. I got some pen nibs (108's not 107, I know, you're bummed) so when he goes down I'll do some comic lettering practice . . . or I'll put that trim back up. Crap. Forgot about that. When you're kitchen is a two foot square your project space narrows pretty quick.

I took off the trim cause we had some ants living back there (and back there they shall stay after I caulk the little bastards in like Pharaohs slaves). When the trim was down I saw a fantastic quarter inch gap all the way around the window. I know insulation wasn't as big in the 50's (or whenever the garden window went in) as it is now but who looks at a quarter inch gap and thinks, "Well, that's a job well done."?

And we wondered why that window was drafty.

Maybe we'll wait on that and watch another Top Gear. Choices. Choices.

 Yes. My sister got Asher a toy hatchet. Who makes toy hatchets? Broken Leg Industries. I was expecting Dan Aykroyd to step out and show me how to use it.

Charlie got some dress gloves and slippers. Clearly a winning combination.

Tonight's Top Gear (from 2004) has them buying cars for about $150 and seeing how they run. It's an early challange so they don't get too crazy and they're even taking the points seriously.
